Ron Allen of American Foodservice Accepted The Entrepreneur Excellence Award

The King of Prussia Chamber Excellence Awards were held on Wednesday April 20, 2005. Chamber awards were granted to five King of Prussia businesses for their accomplishments and contributions to the community.
 
Company Chairman and CEO, Ron Allen, from American Foodservice Corporation accepted The 2005 Entrepreneurial Excellence Award for the company’s national industry leadership and for their role in the King of Prussia Business Community for over 30 years.
 
The company has also been honored on the national level for many areas.  In 2002 American Foodservice was recognized as the largest ground beef processor in the nation of “Certified Angus Beef.”  Burger King/RSI systems named the company “World Class Supplier” in 1995.  Jack-In-The-Box presented the company with its “Vendor Partnership” award in 2001 and in 2003 Taco Bueno recognized American Foodservice with its “Product Supplier of the Year” honor.
 
The Excellence in Chamber Service Award was given to Samual A. Blanchard for his effort and his years of Chamber service.
 
The Excellence in Community Service Award was given to Dr. Karen Stout of Montgomery County Community College for her many accomplishments in the community since her arrival at the college.
 
The Excellence in Public Service Award was given to Ronald M. Fonock, Chief of the Upper Merion Police Department, for his consistent fairness and responsiveness to business interests.
 
The Excellence in Restoration and Property Management Award was given to The Crowne Plaza Valley Forge Hotel for it’s extraordinary attention to detail and its outstanding efforts in restoration.
